Join Arts Network Ottawa on Friday, October 26, for the 2018 edition of ARTinis at the Shenkman Arts Centre where a galaxy of food and beverages brings together the arts and business communities.

Returning for its eleventh year, Arts Network Ottawa’s popular annual event attracts 200 artists, arts lovers, business and community leaders who come together to celebrate and support our initiatives on behalf of Ottawa’s artists and arts organizations.

We are seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Crafting: Help us blow up balloons (with an air compressor) and cut, glue, and craft this year’s decorations! Consult the list below for crafting dates and times. (Please let Danielle know of your attendance via email at before arriving.)

Crafting Dates:
Tuesday Oct. 9 to Thursday Oct. 11: 2-6 pm
Saturday Oct. 13: 10 am – 4 pm
Tuesday Oct. 16 to Thursday Oct. 18: 2-6 pm
Saturday Oct. 20: 10 am – 4 pm
Tuesday Oct. 23: 2-7 pm
Wednesday Oct. 24: 2-8 pm

Event volunteers:

Reception and registration volunteers: Welcome guests, scan tickets, direct guests, etc.

Silent Auction supervisors: Supervise the silent auction tables, answer questions about the items, help and encourage guests to bid, assist in the payment process, etc.

Cleanup crew: help ensure the spaces are clean and tidy, direct guests, etc.

(NEW this year!) Servers: Skilled servers are needed for the seated tasting portion of the evening.

Important dates:

Tuesday Oct. 23: 7-8 pm – volunteer orientation
Oct. 26: Setup from 9am to 5pm, event from 6pm to 10pm, cleanup until midnight.
Saturday Oct. 27: 9am – 1pm – Cleanup

Daytime volunteers on Oct. 26 will be provided with a light lunch and can arrive and leave when it best suits their schedule.

If you are volunteering during the event, we ask all volunteers to arrive for 4:30pm for a volunteer dinner provided by Arts Network Ottawa. You can help us clean up and tear down after the event is over, otherwise, your tasks will be finished by 10pm.
