Next week, I look forward to introducing you to our Coordinators who provide significant support to our operations.
Meet the team!
|Stella brings to Arts Network Ottawa more than 30 years’ experience in diverse retail and not-for-profit organizations.
Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Stella is fluently bilingual in both official languages. As a wife of a retired Canadian Armed Forces member for 32 years, she has had the opportunity to live across Canada, while learning different cultures and gain experience in many lines of work.
For the last 11 years, she has chosen to live in Orléans with her husband and daughter and is excited to bring her expertise to the Art Network.
She possesses experience with developing and implementing operational plans at regional levels. Stella’s interim role is accountable for positioning the organization to ensure successful implementation of the strategic plan while considering internal and external factors that have direct impact on the organization including operational and strategic oversight as well as financial accountability.
She is a pro-active team player with passion and commitment to service. As the former Operations Manager of the Orléans Chamber of Commerce, she has become well-known as a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in the accuracy of her work within a timely manner.
Stella is very involved in her community through events, volunteer work and her support of many regional animal rescue organizations. She is a Rotarian at the Orléans Rotary Club and will be sitting on their Board as a Director beginning June 2019.
|Alex brings to Arts Network Ottawa nearly a decade of experience working and playing an active role in Ottawa’s music and arts communities, having both performed and assisted in the coordination of festivals and venues across Canada and abroad. In 2016, he began leading all programming and events curation at Pressed, an arts and culture hub in downtown Ottawa, working with local and international multidisciplinary artists.
He’ll respond to the needs of Arts Network’s membership and the Ottawa arts community through ongoing programs, special projects, and events. With an emphasis on strong relationship building, Alex works with a variety of stakeholders to steward, develop, and expand Arts Network’s programs and to build strategic relationships to support the Ottawa arts community and Network members.
He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Degree in the Social Sciences.
