Born in Thun, Switzerland, Eliane Saheurs began her career in Europe with the medium of photography. She continued her education from 1985 at Algonquin College and at The Ottawa School of Art with Michel Savage, Blair Sharpe, Kathy Gillis, Jeff Stellick, Brodie Shearer, Nancy Currie, Susan Feindel and others. She has also studied with Kurt Panzenberger in Vienna (Austria), Frank Webb of Pittsburgh, Lynn Forgach of New York, Toshihisa Fudezuka in Tokyo, Virginia Cobb and Jerry Friedman of Santa Fe. She has been in residence at the Contemporary Artists Center in North Adams, Massachusetts and worked in New Mexico, in France and in Crete.
A Member of Arts Network Ottawa, Eliane is also a member of the Ottawa Watercolor Society, the Ottawa Art Gallery and CARFAC, Canadian Artists’ Representation.
She has lived in Ottawa (Orléans), Ontario, since 1984.
The exhibit runs October 31 to November 24, 2019, with vernissage on November 3, 2019 from 2-5 PM
