Wild horses live in beautiful places. To see a herd of wild horses thunder past a mountain vista is a moment you will never forget. Wild horses live in the mountains, in alpine forests, in dusty deserts, badlands, canyons and on grassy dunes by the sea.
Most people have never seen a wild horse.
This collection of large scale photographic images represents seven years of travel by photographer Sandy Sharkey, covering thousands of miles to capture compelling images of wild horses, and to share their struggle for survival.
Wild horses are pure art. They are also the metaphor for the unbridled spirit that once existed in all of us.
This collection of wild spirits encourages you to find your own freedom once again, whatever that may be.
Wild horses teach us everything we need to know about ourselves, if we take the time to listen.
Meet the Artist: February 16, 2020 , 1 pm to 3 pm
