Arts Network Ottawa is recruiting members for its 2021 – 2022 Board of Directors and seeks passionate artists, community and business leaders to help us shape the cultural and equitable landscape of Ottawa.

Arts Network Ottawa’s mission is to connectchampion and collaborate to bring together resources that build a thriving arts community. As the largest arts-service organization in the City, our Network spans regionally and includes artists, musicians, writers, performers, cultural organizations and those that support its artistic and cultural vibrancy.

We prioritize applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Inuit, Métis, Black, People of Colour, 2SLGBTQ+, POC Newcomer Canadians, New Canadians, People with Disabilities, Francophones and Rural Residents.

This opportunity suits people who are interested in building and supporting the Ottawa arts community. Previous board experience is not essential, mentorship and support will be made available to incoming board members.

Volunteer time commitment for Directors would be approximately six hours per month.

We’re looking for board members who are interested in being active in the following committees:

  • advocacy
  • governance
  • development (fundraising and donor stewardship)
  • planning (strategies and policies)
  • equity, diversity & inclusion
  • program and outreach
  • ARTicipate Endowment Fund
